The debate over Sharia in the United States is really a debate over what Islam really is and is not. Is it simply a religion like Judaism, Christianity, and the rest, and thus should be welcomed wholeheartedly and allowed to become part of America’s glorious multicultural mosaic? That is the steadfast position of the left today, and they’re sticking to it, no matter what the evidence is that Islam has political, supremacist, expansionist, and violent aspects as well. Now, a popular Muslim influencer in Britain, Muhammad Saifullah, has added new fuel to the fire over this, weighing in strongly to reject the conventional wisdom in some recent remarks about his cherished religion.
On a recent episode of the Liam Tuffs podcast that has amassed over 600,000 views on YouTube since it was posted on October 4, Saifullah first expatiated on how, if he were the prime minister of Britain, he would not hesitate to enforce Sharia. The Sharia enforcement he envisioned had nothing in common with the American left’s view of Sharia as harmless, cuddly religious law that has nothing to do with non-Muslims.
“My police,” Saifullah declared according to MEMRI, “if I was the PM, would grab a gay person.” He added: “That person would be taken to court. Evidence would be asked, you know, a person has a right to speak for himself, to defend himself. If the evidence is there that this person is a homosexual, then straightaway, I would order my executionist [sic] to take, get rid of him.”
This is in accord with Islamic law, which is based on words ascribed to Muhammad: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot [Lot], execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)
Tuffs then asked Saifullah: “And what about the stoning of women?” Saifullah didn’t hesitate, responding: “100%. People don’t understand, it’s not just women, it’s men too. It’s men and women who have been married before that fornicate, adultery. But had you been married before or if you are married currently and you get caught doing adultery, whether you’re a man or a woman, you’re getting stoned to death.”
Stoning adulterers is not “extremist”; it is Islamic law. The caliph Umar, one of Muhammad’s closest companions, even maintained that it was originally in the Qur’an, saying: “I am afraid that after a long time has passed, people may say, 'We do not find the Verses of the Rajam (stoning to death) in the Holy Book,” and consequently they may go astray by leaving an obligation that Allah has revealed. Lo! I confirm that the penalty of Rajam be inflicted on him who commits illegal sexual intercourse, if he is already married and the crime is proved by witnesses or pregnancy or confession.” Umar added: “Surely Allah’s Apostle carried out the penalty of Rajam, and so did we after him” (Sahih Bukhari 816).
Saifullah continued: “This is Islam, and I’m proud of it and I believe in it 100%. I believe it letter for letter. I’m not going to change it so people can accept me.” When Tuffs asked him if Saifullah would want him executed if he criticized Muhammad, Saifullah said: “100%. 100%,” and said he would perform the execution himself.
Saifullah also said that he would torture those whom he thinks have left Islam: “Me personally, with the apostates, I would torture them. I would torture them until… I would make the death hell for them, especially certain apostates, the apostates like our leaders. The ones in the so-called Muslim countries.” He insisted: “This is what my religion teaches. So if Prevent, and the police, and these c**ts in establishments have a problem with it, why can’t they be brave enough and ban Islam? Check this out, Liam, look at the hypocrisy. They allow the source of what I am saying in the country distributed. The Quran is here, you can find it in every city and village. They let that happen, but the moment I start preaching what’s inside the Quran, I’m a radical. Now is that fair, Liam?”

No, indeed it isn’t, and non-Muslims in the West need to wake up to what they’re doing to their countries. Tuffs then asked Saifullah about Osama bin Laden: “So does bin Laden represent Islam to the T?,” and found his interviewee enthusiastic: “To the T, bro. To the, not the T, to the T T, you know what I mean? Absolutely. But then again, you have to understand the media said a lot of evil stuff about him.” Saifullah insisted that bin Laden “was a Muslim defending Islam and he had every single right to defend his country. And he was a Muslim, and may Allah have mercy on him.”
Regarding Jews, Saifullah’s view was straight from the Qur’an: “I don’t see them as humans, that’s the truth. I see them like cockroaches, you know what I mean. Israel is… I swear to God, a cockroach is better in my sight than a f*****g Israeli, that’s the truth…. So the Jews have a lot, a lot to do with what’s going on in the world, believe me. They’re evil Satanic people. Allah tells us in the Quran.” Indeed. The Qur’an characterizes them as less than human more than once (see Qur’an 98:6, 7:179, and 8:55).
That is Muhammad Saifullah’s Islam. Yet after 9/11, the political and media establishment inundated us with propaganda about how Osama bin Laden and his accomplices had “hijacked” Islam, and that the true Islam was peaceful and benign. This was not true, and was never true, but many “moderate” Muslims in the U.S., seeing the profits of all kinds that could be gained by doing so, duly played along with the charade. Now here is Muhammad Saifullah spilling the beans regarding Osama, Sharia, and more. Will anyone in a position of power and authority take notice? Nah. But you should.
