Dem Candidate Agrees It Might Be Sexist, but Calls His GOP Opponent a 'Child' Anyway

He is one of the leading challengers opposing Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (N.Y.), but Steve Krieg just admitted that his comments should be viewed as “sexist.” He called Stefanik a “little girl” and explained by saying, “I probably deserve to be called a sexist.” But he continued to make light of her by branding her a “child.” Stefanik is the youngest woman ever elected to Congress and is currently 33 years old. So, even though he denied that’s the reason he was calling her that, the insult only sticks if he was making fun of her age.

Hundreds of thousands of millennial women took to the streets after Donald Trump was elected, many of them arguing that he didn’t speak for women or for their generation. It will be interesting to see if they will take up the cause again, now that a Democrat is attacking a young female trailblazer . We can guess that no mainstream media outlet will even cover it though…
