It seems like every day I still see social media posts where people insist that “ICE is the problem.”
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents out there are continuing to do a solid job of rounding up dangerous illegal immigrants who made their way into the United States, and their track record is easy to see. But that isn’t stopping thousands from insisting that they’re the “Gestapo,” and merely doing “Donald Trump’s dirty work” in removing people they feel aren’t doing any harm.
With that, let’s take a look at two recent cases, in which ICE has shown why they do what they do.
First, let’s talk about Rocael Ordone-Cruz, a 23-year-old who originally came from Guatemala. Ever since he came here, he’s racked up a number of serious charges for attacking women in the United States, including several counts of rape and other sex crimes.
Of course, he managed to slip under the radar because of former President Joe Biden’s lax border security. He was eventually arrested by Massachusetts officials for his crimes.
But according to reports, he was released from state custody.
It doesn’t go into detail as to why he was released…but ICE simply wasn’t having it.
“Our Boston officers arrested Guatemalan illegal alien Rocael Ordonez-Cruz at a correctional facility in Maryland where he was in custody for multiple sex charges,” the agency noted on X.
It’s impressive that ICE worked so quickly to keep him from harming others. But I really want to know why Massachusetts officials thought it was fine and dandy to remove him from custody. Might have something to do with their awful “sanctuary state” rules, which I’ve spoken against time and time again.
Federal immigration officials did note that he was served with a notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge. ICE will continue to hold him until those proceedings take place.
But letting him go? Seriously? After he attacked multiple women? That’s terrible, and goes to show just how much work Massachusetts needs with its leadership.
Then there’s another case surrounding 38-year-old Martin Martinez-Ballinas from Mexico. He was previously convicted back in 2017 for killing a U.S. Marine with his car, which resulted in him being deported.
But, surprise, thanks to relaxed border rules, he got back into the United States not once, but twice. And just when he thought he was going to get away with slipping under the radar, ICE once again valiantly stepped in and stopped his plans cold.
ERO Newark Acting Field Office Director Arthur J. Wilson, Jr. noted that Ballinas “repeatedly and flagrantly disregarded the laws of the United States and faces deportation for the third time.” (And likely final, might I add.)
“Federal offenses carry serious consequences, and we will continue to enforce the law to protect our communities and honor those who serve our nation.”
The father of 21-year-old James Ray Walden III recently stopped by Fox News to discuss his son’s death, as well as how idiotic it is that Democrats are trying to abolish ICE, despite their incredible progress.
“it’s got to be one of the most insane ideas I’ve ever heard,” he noted. “I cannot believe that they’re condemning our ICE agents and our DHS for actually doing their job and enforcing the laws that Congress passed.”
Absolutely nailed it on the head. This man lost his son to a monster, and both times Biden simply let him slip under the radar back into our country. Not to mention that Ordonez-Cruz got away with so much and, thanks to “sanctuary state” rules, almost got away with doing some more.
Criticize ICE online all you want, but one look at their progress tells you plain and simple. They, along with our beloved Border Patrol agents, are getting the job done. Period. Point fingers and insist they’re monstrous all you want, but they’re doing more for this country than putting fingers to a keyboard.
I absolutely support them in their efforts and scorn any Democrat that says otherwise. It’s above moving forward, plain and simple.
