You’ll never be able to convince me that privately, Democrats don’t know biology is real. Publicly, almost none of them will say so. The gap between what these politicians believe and what they're willing to admit out loud keeps growing. But occasionally some truth comes out. After the 2024 presidential election, Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) drew criticism from fellow Democrats for saying girls' sports should stay restricted to female athletes.
"I have two little girls, I don't want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat I'm supposed to be afraid to say that," Moulton said.
It was a commonsense, reasonable position. It cost him big time. The backlash was immediate and severe, from resignations within his own staff to condemnation from LGBTQ rights groups. Moulton, to his credit, stood firm, at least at first. "I stand firmly in my belief for the need for competitive women's sports to put limits on the participation of those with the unfair physical advantages that come with being born male," he said.
Of course, the pressure got to him eventually, and he sold out his own daughters to save himself. In January, Moulton voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, a bill banning biological males from competing in girls' school sports by amending the Education Amendments of 1972 to make clear that, under Title IX, sex is determined strictly by biology.
Moulton's refusal to back a bill he had already defended in public, despite his own stated fear for his daughters' safety, says everything about how far Democrats will go to protect their political standing. His daughters' safety clearly isn't as important to him as his seat in Congress.

But now Moulton is running for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.), and selling out his daughters wasn't the last concession. During a recent debate with Markey, Moulton publicly apologized for his earlier comments defending girls' sports. "To the trans community, feeling the weight and the pain of the Trump administration policies, I deeply recognize your trauma," Moulton said. "And I'm sorry if my comments hurt you."

He didn't say he'd changed his mind about biological males competing against girls. Why? Because I’m sure he hasn’t. He’s in political survival mode, and all he cares about is making amends with the radical left and throwing a jab at President Trump for good measure.
Deep down, Moulton knows exactly what's true. Right after the 2024 election, he wanted to protect his daughters because he understood boys and girls are different. It was commendable of him to put his daughters before politics back then. He's since chosen his political career over his own daughters… again… and that's simply awful.
This is how beholden the Democrat Party is to the trans lobby. Common sense doesn’t matter. Family doesn’t matter. Just the narrative.
