The interwebs are bursting with articles from media and so-called "academics" alike, asking if Americans are looking at Civil War 2.0:

Are we at the beginning of the next civil war?
Unlike those other writers, I see more of a "Revolution Redux" scenario, not against our entire government, just the ugly, blue, donkey-puke half.
Democrats, like King George III of England, whom Gen. George Washington defeated after roughly eight years and four months of war, share a lot of disdainful characteristics that We the People shouldn't have to deal with.

GUNS!
THE KING: The Revolutionary War kicked off when the English army marched on Lexington and Concord, sent to snatch guns and weapons that the colonists would use to try to kill all the king's men. He wanted the guns because he knew he was going to kick his tyranny knob to 11.
THE DEMOCRATS: Democrats have been trying to disarm us for decades. They want our guns because they are a bunch of globalist diarrhea people who plan to turn their tyranny knob to 12.
TAXES!
THE KING: His lowness raised taxes on the colonies to pay for the wars he constantly waged.
THE DEMOCRATS: The military-industrial complex has a need to feed. Biden raised taxes on everyone, much of that money went to yet another forever war, this time in Ukraine. People in Democratic-dominated states typically get taxed worse than in red states.
FREE SPEECH!
THE KING: Speaking against the king's rule was considered seditious and resulted in having one's head "redistributed."
THE DEMOCRATS: Democrats label opinions they don't like as "hate speech" and will spend hours trying to have you fired, cancelled, or ostracized. Why? because, unlike the king, they can't (yet) kill you for speaking your mind.
CONTROL!
THE KING: After years of what was known as "salutary neglect," the king decided to clamp down on the 13 colonies and exert his royal control over the soon-to-be Americans.
THE DEMOCRATS: Liberals poop their Crocs when conservatives/Republicans/MAGA demand the right to fly a Betsy Ross flag, to go to church, or question the origins of COVID without being labeled a domestic terrorist who belongs on a government watch list. They want us vaxxed, quiet, and controlled, on a bended knee.
Some people believe Americans are weak and will not fight the reptilian Democrats and the Red Green Alliance for our liberties, which is what the Japanese foolishly thought heading into WWII.
FACT-O-RAMA! After exactly three years, eight months, and 26 days of war, nearly every city in Japan had been reduced to dust and rubble. Somewhere between 500,000 and 900,000 civilians were dead. Underestimating patriotic Americans has always been a costly mistake.
Americans are born with a stubborn determination to remain peacefully ungovernable. Patriotism swells every day that brings us closer to the 250th anniversary of our republic. This July 4 will be epic!
If the Democrats want another Revolution, ok! I've got piles of ammo freedom seeds, and have been trained on how — and where — to "plant" them.
