Eric's Axioms, Part Two

Time to extend my list of axiomatic comments that I started with Eric's Axioms.

So let's climb the mystic mountain again to read the sage advice in part two.

Any organization not completely dedicated to the right at its founding will eventually be totally dedicated to the left.

They're people too? Well, yes. I make the casual and unscientific observation that most criminals are in fact, people, though in some cases, I could be wrong about that.

The worst thing you can do to a politician is actually solve a problem, because once you do, you’ve eliminated their ability to demagogue that problem. That’s why problems are never actually solved when government is involved.

The very people who say DEI is a good thing always seem to think that it's racist when you point out that someone is a DEI hire, even if that hire is a white person.

The biggest sign of insanity in the political world is believing it’s okay for Iran to have nukes, but not okay for Americans to have guns.

You always get the most flak when you’re directly over the target.

That which doesn’t kill me, had better run.

When politicians start talking about wealth distribution, they’re no longer talking about economics; they’re talking politics.

The more centralized power is, the more it is separated from the people, which in turn makes it less effective in its stated goal of serving those people. Will a centralized government ever admit this? No, because it would be counterproductive to the goal of any centralized government, which is the obtaining of, and maintenance of, political power.

It amuses me that so many of the far left crap all over the GOP, claiming that they're Nazis, when they turn right around with their treatment of Israel, they make the case that Hitler was right, and the only problem was they didn't finish the job.

People who are not taught the value of individual freedom and its relationship with prosperity, morality, and limited government will never believe in it and will eventually work to destroy it.

There was a time when people who claimed to be the opposite gender were considered mentally ill and were removed from society. Notice that we now have more of that kind of thing since we stopped doing that and started encouraging their delusions?

The results of government control of schools are both predictable and horrible.

Regarding AI: "Consciousness" was a lot easier to define when there was only one contender for the title.

If illegal immigrants looked like Sydney Sweeney, the green hairs would be snapping up AR15's as fast as they could and fighting each other for guard spots on the border.

Many people's definition of justice, fairness, and compassion amounts to the answer to the question “Will I gain anything by pushing this idea?”

If you really want them to suffer under a plague, send Democrats. That'll end them for sure.

As a rule of thumb, it's not a good idea to draw a loaded gun on a cop if you have any ideas about surviving.

Fun fact: Over 90% of women can't get erections. The figure is somewhat lower for liberal women.

A moose once bit my sister.

This country faces two problems. The GOP establishment, who, not being actual conservatives, don't give a damn about this country, its people, its culture, and its place in the world, so long as they get to rule over the ashes of it, and the Democrats, who are holding the torches.

Not all cultures are equal.

I think that ANYONE singing "Imagine" should have a jail cell waiting for them. A soundproofed one. And I'm not the only one.

Government programs and many charities tend to adapt to conditions for the purpose of continuing their own survival, which suggests that helping those who need it is not the central purpose, after all. Let's recall, as an example, that the March of Dimes was started to raise funds against polio. Once polio was eradicated, the stated goals changed to allow them to continue.

Let's face it, Jim Carville is the Jim Cramer of politics.

Would the left have been nearly as vocal about that “Good Jeans” ad featuring Sydney Sweeney, had the model been, say, Halle Berry?

There’s no surer way to make something more expensive than the government trying to make it more affordable (thanks to Vodkapundit for this one).

Have you noticed that the government's usual response to a housing supply shortage is to subsidize demand instead of supply, thereby making the problem worse?

The biggest advance in education would be the removal of government from the process.

I've long since come to the conclusion that the reason liberal women hate men is because they surround themselves with liberal men.

There isn't a single thing in whatever car you have these days that some sort of governmental regulation isn't raising the cost of.

The same people who called the cops if you didn’t wear a mask are now the ones claiming we live in a police state.

If the walls of this place could only talk, I'd have a helluva tourist trap on my hands.
