Ana Navarro, one of the witches from that haven of brainless buffoonery, The View, urged Americans to vote for Democrats in this midterm election. Her pitch included a statement so ridiculous even for her that it has gone viral, and not for the reason she intended.
She ranted about Donald Trump for supposedly being out-of-touch and for standing in front of the D.C. Reflecting Pool to film a pitch to voters. “I mean, seriously, put a straitjacket on him, lock him in a padded room, and don’t let him leave the White House,” Navarro gibbered. But she quickly made it clear that she, not Trump, is crazy and out-of-touch. “Do you understand that, at a time when most Americans are having a hard time making ends meet, when gas is $5 a gallon, diesel is $6 a gallon, ground beef is $6.30 a gallon, this is the sh*t he’s talking about? Guys, please go out and vote tomorrow and vote these bums out,” Navarro hysterically begged.

Navarro is certainly silly and ignorant, as her record on The View illustrates. Perhaps she really is so dumb that she doesn’t know the difference between a pound and a gallon. There are plenty of female and minority Democrat representatives and media figures whom the party chose precisely because they are stupid, and the racist, sexist Democrats at the top only want token diversity they can control. On the other hand, it could also be that this is a symptom of leftist elitism.
Democrats have always despised American voters; they have always believed themselves inherently superior in intelligence or wealth or enlightenment, and that certain demographics and states owe them votes regardless. Indeed, Democrats have never really lost the plantation owner mentality. That is partly why they don’t bother to make any realistic promises. Their appeals are always based on skin color, sex, and hatred of their political opponents. That is part of the reason why lefties like Navarro say ridiculous things come election time.

It also seems pretty obvious that Navarro never has to cook for herself and has never even bothered to think about what it would be like to cook for herself, or she would never have shared a video with the public of her saying beef comes in gallons. As Aladdin jokes in the Disney movie, perhaps she has servants to go to the market for her servants. Her net worth is somewhere between $3 million and $5 million, and her husband also has his own net worth of somewhere between $5 million and $15 million. So between the two of them, they have a substantial fortune.
Navarro is too wealthy and important to do her own work, but the rest of us peasants are just supposed to vote the way she tells us to because she is superior. She is utterly disconnected from the realities most Americans face, and yet she is lecturing us about how those realities are the fault of everyone except her and her favorite candidates. Yet we all know that Democrats always drive up prices even more than Republicans do. The Biden administration’s food inflation was horrific, climbing into the triple digits for some items.
This is exactly the attitude the Democrats like Gavin Newsom and Joe Biden had when they forced untested vaccines, arbitrary mask policies, and disastrous lockdowns on millions of Americans while violating their own rules. Much-slandered Marie Antoinette never said “let them eat cake,” but that could be a quote from any number of leftist media hacks and politicians, Navarro included.
