Is there a single major leftist ideological tenet that does not end in death and disaster? I can’t think of one. But then again, leftists now and have always believed in killing anyone who disagrees with them. That is why U.S. leftists adopted Marxism so easily and feel such affinity with Muslims, because all those ideologies spread through fear, force, and murder.
Abortion without restriction, infanticide, castration via transgenderism or sterilization, mass migration of foreign criminals, funding for terrorists both domestic and foreign, political assassination, violent rioting, leniency for murderers, sexual immorality that destroys families, soft-on-crime policies, hatred of Judeo-Christian religion, depopulation in the name of climate change… the list of leftist policies and beliefs that lead to tragedy and death could go on and on. This is how we know that leftism is not only politically but morally disastrous. Many of the Democrat Party’s cherished platform points now are literally demonic.
I was pondering this reality today as I read a study from earlier this year arguing quite calmly that governments need to use abortion, contraception, sterilization, and other methods literally to cut the world population in half within the next two centuries. The researchers’ argument is that we have to eradicate billions of people to save the planet, but since there is no catastrophic climate crisis, the real reason must be different and darker.
Some lefties become so filled with hatred for those who disagree with them or unconsciously expose their insanity that they kill while irrationally lashing out. Examples include Tyler Robinson assassinating Charlie Kirk and the gender dysphoric man who just got a plea deal despite murdering a young woman because he could never look as beautiful as her. Then there are the leftists who are so brainwashed that they seem genuinely to believe that by supporting baby killing, illegal immigration, and castrating teenagers, they are compassionate and noble people. I have a few relatives like that.

Then there are the leftists who want to justify mass murder because they believe it will benefit them financially or politically. This group would include many of the politicians and academics who push depopulation for climate “sustainability,” abortion on demand, funding for terrorism, no vetting of criminal aliens, and arrests or killings of political opponents. If there are fewer people, it is easier to control those who are left, particularly if the survivors are terrified of the government.
Republicans and politically unaffiliated moderates in America have spent far too many years trying to pretend that leftists are basically the same as we are. From the time when Thomas Jefferson justified the massacres of the French Revolution to the Democrat-launched Civil War to the era of KKK terrorism up to the present, the political left in America has always believed in killing if it serves their purpose. Sometimes the leftists just support violence with their words, and sometimes they actually commit violence. But in either case, their beliefs are dangerous. And the GOP needs to be a lot more honest about combating the danger.
