Why would the woke, illegal alien-loving educational authorities in Fairfax County, Va., want to rewrite the history of 9/11? Because if they don't, the older generations will remember and the younger generations will learn that importing large numbers of foreigners with radically different values (especially Muslims) is asking for a deadly disaster.
Democrats have been rewriting their own history almost continuously for two centuries, sometimes right in the moment, sometimes revising years afterward (as with the pretense that the Confederate war criminals weren't Democrats). Now Democrats are also assiduously rewriting the history of Islamic terrorism and Islam itself, repeating the years-old lie that Islam is a "religion of peace" and that anyone telling the truth about 9/11 is a hateful Islamophobe.
There have been 49,000 Islamic jihad attacks since the 9/11 attacks in 2001, but we're supposed to be worried about "Islamophobia"? Seriously? Fairfax County Public Schools — the same district that protected an illegal alien sexual predator for months — is despicable.
Fairfax County's new 9/11 teaching guide devotes roughly half its content to creating "safe spaces for Muslim and Middle Eastern students." while mentioning military families just three times and first responders once.

As I have emphasized many times, while a large number of Muslims are not jihadis, Islamic sacred texts and sharia explicitly endorse jihad — among many other evils. The last thing the woke authorities there want is for their constituents to realize what will happen if Third World foreigners take over. The number of deadly illegal alien crimes there ought to be a big tell, but brainwashed leftists are hard to wake up. Perhaps the truth about 9/11 could shock young students into realizing that the Dems' alliance with Muslims is disastrous. Hence Fairfax County schools has to lie about 9/11.
