Between September 11 and October 7, a group of brave Christians and Jews — including former Muslims — are declaring Infidel Awareness Month to highlight the global and existential threat of Islamic terrorism.
With Islam being the ideology most responsible for terrorism in the world today, and with mass Muslim migration to Western nations, it should be obvious that the horrifying possibility of a global caliphate is closer than ever. “Infidel Awareness Month is about remembering, understanding and speaking plainly,” founder and historian Richard Landes said in a Christian News Wire release. “We cannot defend a free society if we are afraid to name the ideology that has repeatedly declared us its enemy. No to supremacist Islam. Yes to Muslims who live as our equal neighbors.”
Dan Burmawi, a former Muslim who often highlights the inherent corruption of Islam given the many evils it glorifies, is releasing a series about “infidels” in different areas and eras. Burmawi has warned that Islam is not just a religion, but a political entity with ever-shifting borders.

I recently highlighted the obscenely high number of Islamic terrorist attacks in the last few decades. My colleague Robert Spencer says that there have been 49,000 Islamic jihad attacks since the 9/11 attacks in 2001. The Center Square relayed a statistic from the French think tank Fondation Pour L’Innovation Politique that from “February 1979 through April 2024. …at least 66,872 Islamic terrorist attacks occurred during this period, killing at least 249,941 people.”

Just this year, there have been multiple Islamic terrorist attacks in America, including the New York City stabbing and attempted bombing, the Old Dominion shooting, the Michigan synagogue attack, and most recently, the Tucson “gay bar” shooting.
In other words, as we might have expected from the huge number of Muslim immigrants who have entered America in the last few decades, Islamic terrorism is a threat to us as well. The idea that Israel, the only Jewish nation and the only nation in that area of the world not taken over by Islam, is fighting a war that is not ours is also ridiculous. 9/11 should have taught us all this, but for some reason, many Americans have already forgotten, or simply refuse to acknowledge that Islam was responsible for 9/11. New York even has a Muslim mayor who supports terrorists now.
The threat of Islamic terrorism has not diminished since 2001; it has increased, and given the influx of Muslims into America with inadequate immigration vetting, we could have another 9/11. There are towns in New Jersey and Michigan where Muslims have so taken over that the call to prayer sounds throughout the towns, bars are closing, Palestinian flags are more popular than U.S. flags, and residents don’t even bother to learn English. Muslims might outnumber Jews, ethnic Italians, and Irishmen in New York. Around the country, churches are being converted into mosques. Sharia enclaves are rising in Texas and California. Infidel Awareness Month is all too timely, a reminder that even in Western nations, Christians and Jews are at risk of becoming second-class “infidels” with Islamic takeovers.
