Over the past 45 years, there have been tens of thousands of Islamic terrorist attacks with hundreds of thousands of victims. And yet for some reason, countless Westerners still haven’t figured out what the reality of Islam is. There are large numbers of people from both sides of the political spectrum who even pretend Judaism is the main problem.
Islamic sacred texts explicitly encourage jihad, rape, and other evils. For 1,400 years, Muslims have been spreading violence and tyranny around the world. Every country where Muslims have taken charge has become more dictatorial, more sexist, and more bloodthirsty. In the modern era, Muslim terrorists literally film their atrocities and plaster genocidal threats all over social media. How much more obvious could it possibly be that Islam is a force of destruction?
My colleague Robert Spencer, an expert in Islamic history and modern jihad movements, says that there have been 49,000 Islamic jihad attacks since the 9/11 attacks in 2001. And yet only 25 years after those attacks, with nearly 50,000 terrorist incidents attributable to Islam in the time period, New York has a Muslim mayor and Americans in all 50 states claim to support Palestinian terrorists. We even have U.S. administrations funding jihadi regimes and removing terror designations from Syrian mass murderers. It’s insane.

Back in December, The Center Square reported on another horrifying statistic, this one from an analysis by the French think tank Fondation Pour L’Innovation Politique (Fondapol).
Fondapol’s data covers the timeframe after the Iranian Revolution ended in February 1979 through April 2024. It found that at least 66,872 Islamic terrorist attacks occurred during this period, killing at least 249,941 people.
The majority of attacks, 35.2%, occurred in Sub-Saharan Africa, causing 30% of deaths from Islamic terrorism worldwide, according to the analysis.
Nigeria alone accounts for a huge number of Christian martyrs. And yet there have been no mass protests or government aid drives or plutocrat-sponsored collections for the Nigerian Christians. Only the Palestinian terrorists and the Iranian ayatollahs garner sympathy and aid from Western leftists. Wokies have expended far more energy and vituperationcondemning Donald Trump's strikes on the mullahs who chant “death to America” than they ever did condemning the mullahs’ decades of terror sponsorship.
Like the Nigerian Christians, Israeli Jews whose kibbutzim Hamas devastated on Oct. 7, 2023, received no international monetary assistance. They are still trying to rebuild almost three years later, and Northern Israeli victims of Hezbollah attacks are equally lacking in resources. On October 7, Palestinian terrorists took video of themselves raping, killing, kidnapping, and torturing innocent civilians of all ages. Proudly the Gazans screamed their joyous triumph to the world. But Western leftists and fringe conservative antisemites are still on the side of the psychopath murderers.
Islam has been a force for evil for centuries, but no amount of reality seems to penetrate its Western defenders’ minds.
