If Lindsay Clancy Isn't Punished Severely, Other Sick Women Will Copy Her

One of the reasons there have to be very severe punishments for crimes such as murder is that if murderers receive empathy and reprieves and lighter sentences than they deserve, other morally twisted or mentally unstable people will see that as encouragement. There are already millions of American women who think that murdering their unborn babies is praiseworthy. The Lindsay Clancy trial is teaching them that murdering toddlers is praiseworthy.

I absolutely think Lindsay Clancy should get the death penalty, and frankly, anything less than the firing squad would not be adequate. I do not give a damn if she was under emotional pressure or suffering from psychosis. What she did was unspeakably cruel and demonic. There are mothers in Nazi concentration camps or Islamic sex slavery under exponentially more pain and pressure who still would do anything to protect their children. No amount of depression could ever excuse strangling your kids with exercise bands.

As a psychologist has pointed out, Lindsay was able to keep herself under so much control that her husband thought she was fine to leave with the children, and she even texted her husband cheerfully about what dinner order she wanted and whether the baby had awoken from his nap either just before or just after strangling that same baby to death.

She knew exactly what she was doing. Lindsay spent up to half an hour slowly choking the life out of her own three children, watching their popping eyes and hearing their dying gasps, even chasing down two of them as they fled. Then she tried to kill herself before sending her husband down to the basement so he could find the tortured bodies of their children. Yes, this woman needs the death penalty.

Patrick Clancy is urging people to step up their charitable activities to honor his dead babies. Lindsay Clancy is whining that a retrial would emotionally stress her out. One of them deserves compassion and admiration. The other deserves execution.

If Lindsay doesn’t get the death penalty or life in prison, the psychos who praise her will be affirmed. There’s already been another child murder in Illinois. Maternal love used to be the standard of unalloyed, eternal affection — Christ Himself compared His love for Jerusalem to that of a mother hen for her chicks (Matthew 23:37). And yet leftist brainwashing has undermined that beautiful maternal love and painted hatred of children as something good.

There must be justice for the Clancy children and a clear message to all the crazed women who support her that murdering children is an act meriting the highest penalties.
