The same Big Tech oligarchs who have been promoting and enforcing censorship, a leftist cultural revolution, and socialist propaganda for years are in charge of the AI companies that both Democrats and Republicans aim to have dominate every single sector of society in the future. Now the report is that some AI companies are deliberately destroying books after scanning them into their AI programs. Is this a setup for Orwellian control of information in the future?
What do I mean by that? Well, the books that AI companies are shredding are reportedly antique books. As a person raised to treat books with care, the thought of anyone shredding an antique book immediately makes me sick to my stomach. But the point is that these are books presumably no longer in print and/or that have a limited number of copies available, perhaps only one copy in existence. This means that the AI companies would, in the future, have the only available versions of these books. They would be in control of the content if anyone wanted to access it.
So the AI oligarchs could either tamper with a text if they wished, or at the very least they would be the gatekeepers of knowledge from these texts, the ones who determine whether or not any of us get to see them. There is nothing that plutocrats with god complexes like better than that sort of power. And no, there is no valid reason I can possibly think of for shredding books unless they are literally satanic. Obviously, the companies don’t think these books are too evil to read, because they are inputting the texts into their AI. The only reason one would shred books, therefore, is if one wanted control of the content, similar to how Nazi book burnings and Cambodian Commie mass executions of intellectuals were ways to control accessible information.

Futurism reports, “AI Companies Are Buying Antique Books, Ingesting Their Contents to Train Models, and Then Destroying Them at Incredible Scale.” Anthropic is apparently the primary offending AI company, though Futurism also mentioned Meta, and CBS News accused Amazon. Two of these companies have deals with the U.S. government, and we’re talking about millions of books vanishing into the shredder. Some used book buyers are seeing rich companies place massive bulk orders for books they can’t afford to save.
Young people are increasingly dependent on AI for research. AI is becoming part of every industry, every major government department, every office or academic job, and even every factory. The oligarchs that make the AI dream of becoming the creators of a new world.

Anthropic is so woke that even AI-loving Donald Trump cut ties with it. Meta and Amazon both spent years censoring free speech and investing in Commie China. All of their AI bots spew lying, woke propaganda. We cannot trust the executives who run these companies. Like Big Brother and the Ministry of Truth in George Orwell’s 1984, they love the idea of having total control over what We the People see, read, and know.
