If I were to write what is happening in Texas with Baby Gabriel as a fictional story, writing experts and readers alike would tell me it seemed too ridiculous to be true. And yet here we are, because leftists are completely mentally unstable and capable of producing a complete fantasy world to hide their own gross contradictions from themselves.
Gabriel’s donor parents demanded that the surrogate mother abort him after they found out he had a heart condition that could be deadly without proper medical care. Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed exerted great pressure on McKenna West to go through with the abortion, and then pitched a fit and reportedly wanted infanticide after she fled to Texas. But when West gave birth to the baby and ensured he would receive life-saving care, suddenly the donor “parents” demanded sole custody of the child, sobbing about how precious he is, and accusing the surrogate mother who saved his life of being maliciously inclined. The level of self-delusion here is impossible to express in words.
Gilkar and Ahmed are simultaneously expressing undying affection for Gabriel, whom they are calling Rumi, and showing no remorse for having demanded his execution. They are supposedly glad that West ignored them and gave birth to Gabriel, and yet also suing her for $100,000 in damages and demanding she not be allowed near the baby. “He’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen,” Gilkar sniffled in court Tuesday. “He’s the love of our lives. He’s suffering a lot.” Then Gilkar — the same woman who can’t make up her mind from one day to the next whether she wants the baby dismembered or cuddled — actually called West “unstable.” And yet she also admitted that she had wanted the baby aborted.
There has to be a special place in Hell for psychopaths like Gilkar and Ahmed, for whom other people’s lives are just commodities to be bought and sold at their convenience. They paid for the artificial insemination of a baby, which almost certainly involved aborting other fetuses, then paid another woman to carry the baby, tried to have the baby killed, and now want the baby separated from the only woman who truly loved him. Gilkar and Ahmed seem genuinely to believe they are the victims in all this, when in a rational society, they would be in prison. The fact that the judge has not decided whether or not Gabriel will go to West or to Gilkar and Ahmed is staggering. The latter, despite their sob stories, have never yet affirmed that they are willing to go through with the necessary life-saving care for Gabriel. If it proves an inconvenience to them, you can bet they won’t. They even originally filed their case in California, which is not the state they should have filed in, to make sure wokies would give them say over both West and the baby.
The surrogate who refused to abort the baby she was carrying is now being sued by the biological parents who have since taken custody of the child.

I don’t know how Gilkar and Ahmed vote, but I do know that their attitude is one that has arisen out of decades of leftist propaganda. And likewise, as a result of leftist propaganda, even though they are the victimizers, they see themselves as the victims. Rush Limbaugh said long ago that abortion was the sacrament of the left, and he was right.

The Founding Fathers, from the very beginning of America, affirmed the fundamental right to life. America was to be unique in that it would honor each individual as created by God with certain unalienable rights, the first one being life. But we in 250 years have moved so far away from our Founding, so far away from our Judeo-Christian roots, that now most Americans accept the argument that we have to kill unborn babies in at least some circumstances. And we actually have a situation in Texas where the couple who furiously demanded a baby‘s death might receive legal custody of that baby.
We pray that the judge will rule in favor of West, and that Baby Gabriel ends up far away from the sick couple who were enraged at his birth.
