It is an uncanny fact that if you hear about a deadly crash that a truck driver has caused in America, you can immediately guess that the individual who caused it was an Indian illegal alien named Singh, and you will be right almost every time.
The latest foreign criminal named Singh caused a fatal crash in Mississippi, but he currently resides in California. A terrible tragedy of sanctuary states that issue commercial drivers’ licenses (CDLs) to illegal aliens is that the problem doesn’t stay within those states; it spreads across the country. California alone issued over 17,000 CDLs to illegal aliens, and those aliens travel the country, often driving recklessly.
Mississippi Highway Patrol told WLBT that “26-year-old Sube Singh of Fresno, California, was driving westbound in a 2021 Freightliner when 36-year-old Dedric Garrett of Terry, Mississippi, exited his 2016 Honda CR-V and was struck by the Freightliner.” But as with many stories identifying a “Maryland dad,” a “Florida woman,” or a “Seattle man,” this Fresno truck driver is actually a foreign national, according to the latest reports.
Border Hawk, a social media news account that has sources within federal agencies, reported on Sunday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) identified Singh as an Indian national illegally present in our country, and therefore certainly ineligible to be driving a Freightliner.
“Border Patrol encountered Singh on November 19, 2017. He was released from ICE custody on bond on May 10, 2018, and is enrolled in an alternative to detention with a GPS monitor,” DHS told Border Hawk. “It is incredibly dangerous for illegal aliens, who often don’t know our traffic laws or even English, to be operating vehicles on America’s roads. DHS is aggressively working with its interagency partners to get illegal alien commercial drivers off the road.”

As of the time Border Hawk published his report with the DHS statement, he had not received confirmation as to whether or not Singh would be facing any criminal charges related to the incident. There appears to be some ambiguity as to whether or not the illegal alien was fully responsible for the crash or whether Garrett unfortunately happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Border Hawk promised to release an update if he received more information on this point.
Both DHS and the Mississippi Highway Patrol are involved in the investigation of the crash.
The Thursday crash in Hinds County that left Garrett dead is unfortunately one of many such crashes. Jashanpreet Singh, who killed three people in a California crash last year, received in July a sentence of less than five years in prison, infuriating many Americans.
In May, Manvir Singh killed two people in a hit-and-run crash near Sacramento. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that Manvir had a California CDL. Back in December, Kamalpreet Singh crashed his semi-truck into the back of another vehicle in Washington state and killed 29-year-old Robert B. Pearson. Authorities there quickly released the killer on bond. Haitian illegal alien Michael Bon killed Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael E. Pahira Jr. in July, and Indian national Partap Singh paralyzed little Dalilah Coleman in 2024. There are also other illegal alien truck drivers named Singh who have caused major crashes, but you understand the point, which is that all of these crashes were avoidable if states would stop issuing licenses to illegal aliens.
