Pete Hegseth Used Slang for Transgender-Identifying Lefties, and Wokies Lost Their Marbles

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth used a slang term for individuals who identify as transgender, and the ever-sensitive snowflakes among LGBTQ activists and mainstream media hacks immediately set up a screech.

Hegseth was making a speech for Rep. Zach Nunn (R-Iowa), whose “Operation Top Nunn: Salute to the Troops” military fundraiser was happening at the Iowa State Fair. The secretary of war came up with a catchy line to describe how the direction of the military has changed, and all the mainstream media outlets who defended the Biden administration despite the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal are now suddenly pretending to be champions of our troops.

“At the Department of War, we do training, not trannies," Hegseth said, describing the priorities of the Trump administration versus the Biden administration. "It is a day and night difference. Training, lethality, accountability, discipline, readiness—the bedrock of what it means to be an American warrior—is the only focus of our department. Colorblind, gender-neutral, merit-based. That's it.”

While his slang (“trannies”) will probably bring a chuckle from most conservatives tired of treating transgender ideology seriously, the leftists who have spent years claiming that using the grammatically and biologically correct pronouns is akin to genocide were immediately furious. “‘High T’ Pete Hegseth hurls anti-trans slur at Iowa State Fair campaign stop while Iran war rages on,” sputtered LGBTQ outlet The Advocate. “Pete Hegseth Casually Tosses Out a Slur at Iowa State Fair,” exclaimed The New Republic.

“Pete Hegseth Uses Transphobic Slur in Stunning Speech About U.S. Military,” accused People Magazine. “Hegseth barks anti-trans slur at Iowa fair to distract from his incompetence,” MS NOW claimed, totally ignoring the fact that the military has broken recruiting records and executed multiple successful operations under Hegseth. OK! Magazine is not OK and is demanding that Hegseth resign. Perhaps the most ironic reaction was from a website that calls itself Reality Tea but which is so far off from reality that some boiled-brain steeped in wokeness whined, “Pete Hegseth’s Anti-Trans Slur During Iowa State Fair Raises Eyebrows.”

All these idiots are simply furious that the Department of War is no longer bowing to woke ideology and compromising our military in order to do so.
