A Democrat congresswoman from New Mexico received a special tour of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, but repaid the politeness of federal officers by breaking the rules and pitching a fit while she was there.

Whenever ICE allows a Democrat politician to come to a federal facility, it always ends with the Democrat making a spectacle of some sort and falsely accusing the Trump administration of abusing foreign criminals. Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández was no exception. She keeps whining that the Trump administration is being cruel by deporting illegal alien murderers, rapists, thieves, drunk drivers, drug traffickers, pedophiles, and more. When she went to the Torrance County ICE facility, it was just part of her propaganda act.

Fernández claimed in the video clip below that she was going to the facility to see that there were no violations of the law. But while there, she was the one who tried to violate federal guidelines, just as all the aliens whom she loves so much broke our laws to be here. And while the congresswoman claimed that federal authorities were desperate to prevent her from entering the facility, they actually gave her a tour.

ICE set the record straight. For one thing, because so many of the detainees are dangerous criminals, and because of privacy guidelines, anyone who wishes to meet with a detainee has to apply for that and schedule it beforehand. There are no spontaneous meetings.

ICE facility staff gave Fernández a “comprehensive tour tailored to the specific areas she had requested to see, including visitor check-in, intake, kitchen/food preparation and medical services.” While they were in the kitchen, Fernández began to demand that she be allowed to speak with the detainees in that area. The federal employees politely told her this was impossible, reminding her of the requirements. “Instead of accepting this guidance, the Congresswoman began talking and shouting to them from a distance, telling the detainees who she was and attempting to get closer to them. This disrupted operations and required intervention by facility leadership,” ICE emphasized. “ICE maintains clear policies about acceptable conduct within its facilities, just like all other federal law enforcement agencies do. Those policies are made clear ahead of time to congressional visitors.”

By the way, just as a reminder about the victims of illegal alien crime about whom Fernández doesn’t give a hang:

Fernández is expanding all of her energy and time on the foreigners who victimized Americans.
