Democrats like Zohran Mamdani not only reject assimilation, but they also want to transform American culture by encouraging immigrants or children of immigrants to reject everything fundamentally American and demand that we change to suit them.
For much of American history, the expectation was that immigrants to America needed to assimilate to our culture, learn the language, and adopt our values. While this sometimes might have been implemented poorly in individual instances, overall it was not only an understandable, but an excellent standard. If you are going to live in a nation, and especially if you are going to obtain citizenship, you should be willing to take on the language, basic moral values, and political ideals of the people where you live, unless the political ideals are outright evil (in which case, why are you living in that country?). But this is exactly what Democrats deny and try to undermine now.
Mamdani is advertising a lottery — apparently funded via taxpayer money — for New York City high schoolers to win 2,000 “free” tickets to Broadway shows. Aside from the fact that whenever a socialist advertises something free, it always ends up costing other citizens a lot more money, the creepy part is that Mamdani used AI to alter or generate videos of himself talking about the lottery in multiple different languages. Apparently, he either wants mostly illegal aliens to win the lottery, or he hopes legal residents and naturalized citizens with more loyalty to their countries of origin than to America will win the lottery. Otherwise, why bother to put out all the videos in multiple different languages?

Mamdani has videos in the Bengali language, in Chinese, and in Spanish. Below is his Chinese version. The three choices so far (presumably there'll be more) are seemingly random but rather interesting. Dems love to talk in Spanish because of how many illegal aliens come in from Mexico, from Latin America, from South America. But the fact that Mamdani's other top choices were from the fundamentalist Muslim cesspool of Bangladesh and our number one enemy, Communist China, is significant.

We all know how Mamdani fraternizes with pro-Hamas jihadis, lied about alleged Islamophobic incidents, promised "free" stuff he quickly revealed he couldn't deliver, drove up rent, encouraged antisemitic violence, called to abolish private property, fundraised for a terrorist-filled entity, and restricted America 250 celebrations. He is a socialist Islamist who hates America's founding principles, despises Judeo-Christian religion, admires jihadis, and believes in redistributing wealth at his own whim.
We can all think of ways that our food, entertainment, economy, and holiday traditions became richer through the contribution of immigrants from Ireland, Italy, Germany, Africa, China, Japan, and other nations. But the difference is that previously, immigrants had to change and adapt to a greater extent, and now Americans are supposed to tie themselves into knots accommodating every single new ethnic and religious group that arrives here, particularly Muslims. Democrats want this confusion and chaos precisely because it is their way of destroying America as it once was.
