White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is stepping down from her position to spend more time with her young children. But leftist media hacks immediately began piling on her with gleeful jeers and nasty accusations.
It is not completely unusual for press secretaries to leave after a little less than two years, and Leavitt has a very specific reason. “Serving as the White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime,” Leavitt wrote on X. “Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least. The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.”
A mother‘s children should always come before her career, and so I applaud Leavitt. But Democrats, who seem always to resent the birth of any child because of their devotion to abortion and homosexuality, can’t resist kicking Leavitt on her way out.
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who is accused of doctoring evidence while on the Jan. 6 committee, sneered, “Karoline Leavitt is leaving the White House to spend a little more time… with the truth.” Commentator Brian Krassenstein, as usual, had to go straight to deranged conspiracy theory: “Karoline Leavitt announced her resignation 24 hours after she found out that Trump left her for dead on a plane he thought could be shot out of the sky.”
The Advocate, a creepy and radical LGBTQ outlet, gloated, “Karoline Leavitt will tell her last lie from the White House podium this month. Trump says she's leaving[.] The youngest White House press secretary in history is departing after a tenure defined by combative briefings, documented falsehoods and attacks on trans people.” What it actually means, of course, is that she will not lie about biological sex and child grooming to appease perverts and mentally ill individuals.

CNN was a little more subtle, but obviously smug. It described Leavitt as “a pit bull for the president and his policies” and claimed that her “departure comes at a challenging moment for Trump” amid the conflict with the Iranian regime and ahead of the midterm elections. The outlet emphasized how difficult it will be to replace Leavitt and took sly jabs at her previous efforts to balance motherhood and being press secretary.
The reality is that all these leftists are angry at Leavitt because she was so good at her job. She did not take garbage from woke mainstream media and she spoke a lot of truths that lefties don’t want to hear.
Furthermore, Democrats always try to frame motherhood as a curse and a killer of dreams so naturally they would not accept the argument that she should prioritize her children over her career. Leavitt represents so much that Democrats hate.
