While Senate RINOs are busy defeating election integrity and military funding efforts, four House Republicans voted with Democrats to kill an amendment codifying a Trump administration ban on transgender-identifying individuals serving in the United States military. Let’s be honest, weak and treacherous Republicans are almost as destructive as Democrats, and their cowardice is absolutely necessary for the Democrats to win legislative battles.
Democrats tend to ram through destructive and anti-constitutional legislation when they are in power partly because they’re ruthless and partly because they pressure weak Republicans. Dems also managed to block many necessary and constitutional pieces of legislation when they are not in power through the same methods. We the People always pay the price.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) confirmed on Wednesday that he has no interest in the House budget resolution that Donald Trump and House leadership had hoped would pass before the August recess. That would have included the requisite military funding for the ongoing conflict with the Iranian regime, and provisions from the SAVE America Act. Instead, Thune is working on a "bipartisan" continuing resolution. He put great emphasis on how much he — and Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) — plan to work with Democrats.

In other words, so much for the Iran conflict funding, so much for the election integrity provisions, and so much for immigration enforcement funding. Thune does not care that election reform is wildly popular not only with Republican but even with Democrat voters. He does not care that Donald Trump is urging passage of the budget resolution. He prefers to be chummy with his Democrat colleagues who are always America Last. Because for some reason, RINOs think by selling out America’s future for a few favorable leftist media headlines in the present, they are accomplishing something noble.
Speaking of turncoats who are pandering to Democrats, four House Republicans managed to ensure defeat for an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would have codified Trump’s executive order aiming to prevent individuals with serious gender dysphoria from being in the U.S. armed forces. The amendment would have passed had these Republicans not jumped ship. And we have to ask, what possible benefit can these four envision from allowing people with a serious mental illness who avow the biological impossibility of sex change to wear a military uniform and have regular access to deadly weapons?

For that matter, how many dozens of LGBTQ radicals need to shoot and stab Americans before politicians will acknowledge reality? Up to 40% of attempted or successful school shooters between 2020 and 2025 were transgender-identifying or “trans-suspected”, and Charlie Kirk’s LGBTQ killer was part of a larger trend. When an individual has one type of mental illness like gender dysphoria, he is more likely to be emotionally and mentally unstable in other areas, hence the danger of having such an individual serve in the military. This is so obvious it is insane that even one Republican would oppose such an amendment as the newly defeated one.
For almost two centuries, ever since the era when Democrats started a Civil War to protect slavery, Republicans have made the mistake of thinking that if they just grant big concessions to Democrats, those Democrats will reciprocate in kind, which never happened. And such misguided thinking is as doomed to failure now as it has been since the 19th century.
