Between the usual Election Day shenanigans during Arizona’s primary elections and the latest revelations about non-citizen voters in New Jersey, it should be obvious how urgently we need election reform. So why, exactly, are Democrats and RINOs still slow-rolling the SAVE America Act?
The problem of non-citizen registered voters is so atrocious in New Jersey that even Trump-hating Gov. Mikie Sherrill admitted to it on X before immediately asserting that President Donald Trump was still completely wrong on election integrity. In Arizona, Republicans in multiple counties are reporting failed machines, poll workers trying to turn people away, and efforts to send a GOP poll worker home. We all know that our elections are compromised. And yet the leftists are still lying, and Congress is still not passing the necessary legislation. The only logical conclusion is that Democrat politicians and some corrupt Republicans genuinely don’t want reform — they want corrupt elections.
In Glendale and Scottsdale, Ariz., voting machines were down on Election Day. Both are located in Maricopa County, where Republican turnout was reportedly very high. My younger sister went to vote in person in Pima County Tuesday. First, a poll worker said she could vote using just a military ID; then other poll workers said that wasn’t sufficient. She came back with multiple forms of ID and they told her she wasn’t registered to vote, even though she was. After she sorted out that nonsense, they informed her they did not have the right ballots, and she had to wait around for an extended period of time before they finally pulled out a ballot that had been there all along. She was voting Republican in the primaries. Pima County is heavily Democrat. Oddly enough, at another polling location in Pima County:

Poll observers have every right to stay & ensure that the paperwork is done correctly.
We’re not going to let Pima County get away with this.

I know a registered Republican who was a poll worker for years until, abruptly, during the last election cycle, Pima County turned her down. It’s odd how my Democrat relatives don’t seem to have these same problems. Maybe Dems are afraid of losing Pima? If they can discourage Republicans enough in the primaries, fewer of them will show up in the general election.

Arizona has a lot of non-citizens, including some with driver's licenses. Over in New Jersey, non-citizens are definitely voting. Sherrill admitted that at least 6,600 non-citizens are on New Jersey voting rolls and around 400 of them voted. And those are just the voters who freely admitted to being non-citizens. The true number is almost certainly higher.

But Democrat-led states still fight the Trump administration on audits, and the SAVE America Act, which requires IDs to vote, cannot get anywhere. So House Republicans are trying to pass it piecemeal through a budget resolution. What are our oligarchical politicians so afraid of?
