Gunfire at Phoenix ICE Office As Democrats Double Down on Anti-ICE Rhetoric

Following two incidents where illegal aliens who tried to run over Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and got shot, Democrats didn't tone down their rhetoric; they intensified their anti-ICE smears. Now, on Thursday, there's another potentially deadly incident at an ICE office in Phoenix.

It appears, based on the video below, that an unidentified gunman fired through upper-floor windows of an ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) office in Phoenix. Fortunately, FBI Phoenix reported no injuries in connection with the incident. Very few details are currently available to the public.

Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-Ariz.) promptly tied the incident back to endless Democrat rhetoric encouraging woke radicals to see ICE as equivalent to the Gestapo. "The militant left — radical communists — despise our ICE agents so much they’re firing shots at their building in Phoenix in broad daylight. They will stop at nothing to bring anarchy to our streets," Hamadeh charged the political left.

Similarly, not long before the shooting, border czar Tom Homan appeared on Laura Ingraham's Fox News show to discuss this very issue. "This all comes back to the Dems, who are telling people ‘don't comply with ICE, ICE is not a real law enforcement agency, here's how you evade ICE,’” he accused leftist politicians and activists, using Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) as an example.

"I'm scared to death that one of these days, our ICE officers will not be quick enough, the bad guys will be quicker, and I will have to hand another folded flag to a spouse or child,” Homan continued angrily. “So, you know, President Trump's clear, this policy's not going away, and it all goes back to the Dems … [who] tell people to attack ICE, and tell people to evade them, and tell people don’t comply, tell people to resist, and tell people ICE is not a real law enforcement agency." He insisted Democrats are complicit in "bloodshed."

Instead of simply citing Republicans criticizing the Democrats, however, let's look at quotes from a few Democrats after two criminal illegal aliens got themselves shot by weaponizing vehicles against ICE in Maine and Texas (read more about the incidents here). Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) shrieked, "I don’t care what Trump says. ICE doesn’t have the power to just murder people in the streets. That’s not immigration enforcement, it’s senseless violence ... No one is above the law, especially not Donald Trump with his cruel, deadly immigration agenda." He reshared an article about 200 House Democrats demanding a biased investigation into the shooting incidents. These same Dems are indifferent to the 3,200% or more increase in vehicular assaults on federal immigration officers.

Referring to the Colombian illegal alien who rammed his car twice into ICE agents in Maine, NBC News sniffled, "He was a young dad, working to give his daughter a stable life, before he was shot and killed by ICE after an attempted traffic stop." Skinhead Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) wailed, "ICE agents executed him while his family watched in terror; forever traumatized. Joan is the second father ICE officers have murdered in one week, and at least the eleventh victim of fatal shootings carried out by the second Trump Administration." And if only he had not exercised deadly force, Joan Sebastian Durán Guerrero could be alive today.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), who is also running for governor, pontificated largely, "Minnesotans know this heartbreak. From Minnesota to Texas to Maine, there must be accountability and an end to these killings." By the way, the Texas illegal alien, a Mexican national, had significant amounts of meth in his vehicle.

In other words, Democrats are still determined, regardless of the facts, to escalate violence until they end up costing the lives of ICE agents.
