Since Commie Zohran Mamdani became the mayor of New York City, rent prices have spiked, tax revenue has plummeted as wealthy citizens flee, and the Big Apple is predictably turning into a dystopian warning for other cities. Unless other towns address various threats such as woke education, large foreign-born populations, and rigged elections, the nightmare of New York City will spread across the country.
Communists always promise a glorious utopia, which they neither can nor wish to bring about, followed in reality by catastrophe and usually mass casualty crises. All of the people who voted for Mamdani, thinking he was going to give them free everything, were gullible fools, ignorant of history, and incapable of understanding basic economics.
The New York Post covered new data from the Citizen Budget Commission that revealed a drop of $11 billion in tax revenue in just one year as the long-time millionaire and billionaire exodus from New York picked up speed.
Even before Mamdani took office, the Empire State’s share of the nation’s millionaires dipped from 12.7% to 8.7% between 2010 and 2022 – the largest decline of any state, according to the CBC’s Competitive NYS: Value Proposition Tracker dashboard … Mamdani gleefully gloated about the tax in a social media video filmed outside billionaire Ken Griffin’s $238 million Manhattan penthouse – a stunt that infuriated the hedge fund titan and prompted him to threaten pulling a $6 billion Park Avenue development.
That, of course, prompted other wealthy citizens to leave also.
Then there is the rent price crisis, which Mamdani has also made worse. Between overregulation, sanctuary policies for illegal aliens, and penalizing landlords, the New York City government has, as usual, fueled the problem.

The thing is, the factors that led to Mamdani's rise are present in countless towns, cities, and states across America. For instance, even some Republican politicians are trying to prevent immigration reforms in order to keep around cheap foreign labor at American workers' expense. And the U.S. Supreme Court just ruled in favor of allowing anyone born on U.S. soil, even to an international criminal or someone who just walked or flew across the border, to have U.S. citizenship. We need to be writing and calling our representatives regularly to remind them that fixing birthright citizenship, passing the Save America Act, and deporting mass numbers of foreigners are priorities. Why? Well, it so happens that half of college grads in N.Y.C. are foreign-born or from immigrant households. Want to guess how America-hating, jihad-loving Mamdani scored so well with young voters?

Partly, his young voter popularity was due to Muslim migrants. Partly, it was due to the woke education system. Unless American parents and voters begin to prioritize school reform on a wide scale, we can expect our future to be filled with Mamdanis. Parents need to keep close tabs on schools in their area and stop paying high prices to send their children to Ivy League or other publicly funded colleges that are practically Marxist brainwashing institutes.
Finally, there's the issue of rigged elections. I already mentioned the Save America Act, which should be a priority for Congress. But citizen muckrakers can also help identify fraud and bring it to the feds' attention. That's partly what spurred election investigations in California and Georgia.
We the People have a country to save.
