The Islamic regime of Iran continues to refuse even the most favorable of deals in order to strike ships in the Strait of Hormuz, triggering answering strikes from the United States.
The Tehran terrorists seem to have two main goals right now. Firstly, they want endless jihad, because they believe Allah will reward all of them who die while fighting America and Israel. And they think the Islamic Messiah, the Mahdi, will come if they establish a global Islamic caliphate. Secondly, the ayatollahs want to force all ships going through the Strait of Hormuz to pay tolls to them, thus validating Tehran's false claim to sovereignty over the waterway, and boosting their financial reserves.
President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday, “United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN! It is very possible that they will never learn! There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”
That would, of course, be the ideal option, not only for the oppressed people of Iran whom the government is still arresting and killing, but for all the Americans and Israelis under constant assault both within our countries and in the Middle East from Iranian terrorists.
The Islamic regime official who signed the MoU is Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The Iranian regime recently put a €50 million (about $57 million) price on Trump's head, and attempted to assassinate his daughter Ivanka. Multiple Iran-linked terrorists have committed attacks in the U.S. this year. We're not simply talking about a problem in the Middle East that threatens our soldiers stationed in Gulf nations. We're talking about an immediate threat right on our own doorstep.
That's the context around the ongoing conflict with Iran. U.S. Central Command issued an update on June 27 also:
After yesterday’s U.S. strikes in response to the Iranian attack on M/V Ever Lovely, Iran was given a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement but elected not to when its forces launched a one-way attack drone that hit M/T Kiku this morning at 4:30 a.m. ET. The Panama-flagged tanker was transiting near the Strait of Hormuz with more than two-million barrels of crude oil.
CENTCOM forces launched strikes today in direct response to continued Iranian aggression against commercial shipping. U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and minelayer capabilities.
CENTCOM stated that commercial vessels can still pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
I anticipate more trouble on the Lebanese front, where Tehran's proxy terror group Hezbollah continues its endless attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians. Yes, the U.S. has brokered a deal between the Lebanese government and Israel. The issue is that the Lebanese government includes many Hezbollah operatives (some of them U.S.-sanctioned), Hezbollah will never disarm willingly, and we have no certainty that the Lebanese government will strike Hezbollah hard once Israeli troops withdraw. If the U.S. does end up eliminating the genocidal Islamic regime of Iran, however, that will certainly cripple Hezbollah also.
