Detransitioner Chloe Cole was supposed to speak at the University of Washington this month at an event hosted by Turning Point USA. But local Antifa have been so violently threatening and organized such an obviously dangerous mob militia that the event was perforce postponed. Soon after, another TPUSA event received a series of bomb threats.
Since President Donald Trump designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, hopefully local or federal authorities can identify the ringleaders of the militia and put them in prison. The event was originally scheduled for May 13 but was postponed, and it is still unclear when it will take place, though Cole confirmed she is still planning to speak at the University of Washington (UW). While the postponement of the event is not "breaking news," it has raised renewed interest today as it reflects an ongoing reality of leftist violence — indeed, police in San Antonio, Texas, just arrested a man who vowed to bomb a TPUSA event with Erika Kirk.
Both Cole and Erika Kirk are facing the terrifying reality that numerous militants across the country want them assassinated just as Charlie Kirk was. And this is also why I think Republicans at both the federal and state levels need to get a lot more serious about arresting criminals. The overwhelming majority of Democrat politicians and leftist rioters who break the law over and over are never arrested, let alone charged. No wonder the violence is getting worse. Why not keep calling for assassinations and assault political opponents if being leftist is an automatic safeguard from consequences?
The KKK and other Democrat militia organizations like the Red Shirts terrorized our country for decades in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Do we really want to return to that era again? Have we not learned how to crush domestic terrorism in all the years since?

Chloe Cole talked about the postponed UW event and the Antifa militia. "Their actions, their explicit threats on my life, have raised this event to national attention — a level of attention our security team and the local P[olice]D[epartment] are frankly unprepared for," she said.

Cole went on, "Before Charlie Kirk's assassination, I think I would have been less careful, but the times have changed. And speaking on a university campus in 2026 can come with deadly consequences. We are postponing this event because of this reality. I am not afraid of Antifa. The reason I'm speaking out at all is because I've already walked and escaped my own personal hell. It's hard to shake me. And some ragtag group of wannabe revolutionaries on cross-sex hormones certainly won't shake me. But there's a difference between being brave and being stupid."
She argued that truth always wins and that a postponement is not truly a victory for Antifa. "Christ will always prevail. God created each and every single one of us in His image and there are only two sexes," Cole stated. "That is the exact message I was going to take to University of Washington tomorrow. I will be back. Not just at UW, but to many campuses across the country. Because once conversations stop, that is when the violence begins."
Speaking of which, San Antonio police arrested 26-year-old Jacob Wenske, who now faces two felony charges of making a terroristic threat causing public fear. He responded to a post about TPUSA's Women's Leadership Summit with "I know exactly where to bomb" and “I can’t wait to be the valet for her [Erika Kirk's] escort." He also wrote in an email, "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.” At least Wenske is in jail now. If only the UW Antifa terrorists were.
