The prime minister of Israel has set the record straight on the unending rumor mill about his health.
During the height of the joint Israeli-U.S. Operation Epic Fury/Roaring Lion — which continues for Israel due to regular Hezbollah barrages — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kept private his treatment for what could have been deadly cancer. Fortunately, he now reports that he is healthy, the treatment was a complete success, and the Iranian regime cannot look forward to his death. This is good news for America, too, as Netanyahu is without any doubt our best and strongest ally in the Middle East.
In an April 24 X post, Netanyahu noted that the newly published medical report was delayed for two months at his request. He was afraid that if it were “released at the height of the war,” it would “allow the Iranian terror regime to spread even more false propaganda against Israel.” There were multiple false reports online from Iranian regime mouthpieces claiming that Netanyahu died, so of course, he did not want to feed that beast.
Netanyahu continued, according to a Grok translation from the Hebrew:
I ask to share with you three things:
1 - Thank God, I am healthy.
2 - I am in excellent physical condition.
3 - I had a minor medical issue with my prostate that was completely treated. Thank God, it's behind me.
Approximately a year and a half ago, the prime minister received treatment for an enlarged benign prostate.

During routine medical check-ups, doctors discovered a very small spot. Further examination found that it was a malignant tumor in a very early stage, “with no spread or metastases whatsoever.” Doctors assured Netanyahu it was not uncommon in men of his age and that he had two options to deal with the issue:
1 - It doesn't have to be treated; it is possible to remain under monitoring alone. You can live with it, and many do so.
2 - Undergo treatment and remove the problem.

When I'm given information in time about a potential danger, I want to address it immediately.
This is true on the national level and also on the personal level.
Hence, Netanyahu “underwent targeted treatment that removed the problem and left no trace of it.” After only a “few short treatments, read[ing] a book,” and returning to work, Netanyahu says he is completely well again. “The spot disappeared completely. Thank God, I overcame this too,” he wrote. The release of the medical report now simply confirms the good news rather than feeding any fake reports of his imminent demise.
Netanyahu thanked Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem and added, “From you, citizens of Israel, I have only one request: Take care of your health. Get checked, and follow the doctors' instructions. And from here, on the eve of Shabbat, I pray for the peace of our wounded in body and soul, and send them a warm hug and complete healing in your name. Shabbat Shalom.”
I pray that Netanyahu will not see any resurgence of the tumor and that his decisive leadership will benefit both Israel and America for a long time to come. And Shabbat Shalom to all Israelis.
