A London-based council recently and quietly recognized a Palestinian city as its twin. The leaders of that city celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre and erected a monument to a mass murdering terrorist. This is what cultural suicide looks like.
GB News reported about the Labour-run London Brent Council's stupid move, although the latter actually occurred in January. But for reasons I will quote and discuss below, Brent Council appears to have tried to keep hush-hush its agreement with Nablus, a city in the "West Bank" (the Arab propaganda term for Judea and Samaria, which ought by right to belong to Israel).
The "twinning" ceremony happened in the Wembley hotel and, while it didn't make much news in the West, it made the rounds of Palestinian Authority (PA) TV, according to GB News. Jewish organizations and local politicians and clergy have criticized Brent Council since. The PA's pay-for-slay program financially rewards and incentivizes terrorism, including the Oct. 7 massacre. As of October 2025, eight out of 10 Palestinians still supported genocidal jihad against Israel. And Nablus's leaders and residents specifically are as ideologically committed to jihad and wiping Israel off the map as the rest of the Muslims who deceptively call themselves Palestinians. From GB News:
Critics have pointed to a monument in a central square in Nablus commemorating an Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades commander linked to a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv in 2003 that killed 23 people.
Also, local youth movements existing in Nablus have organised events praising militants and encouraging younger generations to follow what organisers describe as the path of the martyrs [i.e., terrorists]…[the London agreement] was formalised on behalf of Nablus by Dr Nehad Khanfar, a prominent figure in the Palestinian community in Britain.
Social media posts attributed to Khanfar, published on October 7, 2023, the day of the Hamas attacks, said that "some dreams have become closer to reality", with further posts on the first anniversary of the horrific day appearing to praise those who carried out the assault.
The problem is, Brent Council isn't an anomaly in Britain anymore. Yes, there are many Brits who oppose Islamization, but the government is increasingly dictatorial, Muslim migrants are the majority in some UK cities (including reportedly London), and it is even more difficult to oust corrupt politicians in a Parliamentary system than in a Republic like America.

In 2024 alone, there were 9,700 arrests for social media posts in just 39 UK police jurisdictions. The British government is particularly aggressive in punishing criticisms of mass migration and Islam. In contrast, only 6% of victim-based crimes — in many cases, illegal migrants committed such crimes — resulted in charges in the UK in 2024. King Charles issued a statement for Ramadan but not for Easter this year. His heir, Prince William, claimed in 2019 that Islam is a "religion of peace and understanding," even though it explicitly commands the slaughter of non-Muslims.
Multiple historic English cathedrals and abbeys have hosted Muslim prayers or been the scene of hostile takeovers. When I was in London myself in 2024, I saw a massive pro-Hamas protest causing chaos in Trafalgar Square, which was packed with rioting Muslims.
Welcome to Londonistan, and learn from the UK crisis not to surrender tamely to jihad.
