Soon after Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-Texas) serial criminal security guard died in a shootout with police and in the middle of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding fight in Congress, we should ask ourselves exactly what Democrats consider necessary security and what they consider dispensable.
Mike King (really Diamon-Mazairre Robinson), Crockett’s security guard who went around in a replica police cruiser with stolen plates, impersonating a police officer and hiding his felony record, provided security not only for the outgoing congresswoman, but for a church and hotels. A Dallas source tells PJ Media that King and his unregulated security firm even provided security services to local charter schools and that the felon King would periodically show up at at least one of the schools.
Obviously, King was not a reliable security guard, and even presented a threat given that he had a criminal past and might victimize people he was supposed to guard, but did Crockett care? As long as she felt she was safe, it seems it didn’t matter to her what King had done or how he lied to other customers. The people in charge of security hiring at the hotels, churches, and possibly schools, not to mention Crockett herself, seemed to have done precious little vetting on the crazy criminal.
Crockett defended herself and her team and blamed “the system” for the fact that he passed through “vetting” without red flags. She then expressed condolences to his family and friends. There was no penance, no horror; she even cited the fact that King provided security for other entities in the Dallas area, not to deplore his duplicity, but to justify her own trust. One wonders if the churches, schools, and hotels will reform their vetting systems or simply blame everyone else but themselves for missing all the danger signals.

Speaking of totally ignoring glaringly obvious danger signals, the Democrat Party as a whole is just as careless of our national security as the people who hired Diamon-Mazairre “Mike King” Robinson were about the security of their guests, parishioners, or schoolchildren. So long as Democrats get illicit votes, Congress-impacting population shifts, and cheap labor out of illegal immigration, they are not the least concerned about how many American citizens are replaced, robbed, raped, or killed by illegal aliens.
Heck, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries basically admitted on video that the ongoing Democrat-induced partial shutdown over Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) funding is about protecting illegal aliens who take American jobs and vote in our elections. Otherwise, why would he be concerned that ICE goes to polling places, hospitals, and schools?
Democrats even ignored evidence that terrorists and foreign agents were exploiting open borders under the Biden administration. As of late 2025, the National Counterterrorism Center identified at least 18,000 known or suspected terrorists welcomed into America by the Biden administration. While Joe Biden was still in office, the federal government admitted there was a risk of Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists entering our country, and at least one jihadi who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre later turned up in Louisiana. A terrorist from Afghanistan brought over by the Biden administration murdered National Guardsman Sarah Beckstrom in Washington, D.C., just before last Thanksgiving, while the previously convicted jihadi who murdered an ROTC instructor at Old Dominion University recently secured release under the Biden administration.
Diamon-Mazairre “Mike King” Robinson, the convicted felon and serial liar working security for a Democrat congresswoman, is a symbol or symptom of a larger disregard for the safety of others that Democrat politicians exhibit.
