Sharia Arrives? Muslims Get Off for Attempted Honor Killing

Have you ever wondered if sharia law will come to the United States? The answer could be very ugly, as an Iraqi couple in Washington state were just acquitted of attempted murder after trying to perform an honor killing on their daughter.

While the couple were convicted on lesser charges, it is shocking that an attempted honor killing, which was caught on video, as you can see below, would not be considered a murderous act. And it begs the question — what would the verdict have been if the couple in question had been white American citizens, or Israelis? Is the jury uninterested in objective justice generally, or were the two Iraqis targets of leniency because they are Muslim immigrants?

Wherever large numbers of Muslim immigrants come, the rate of rapes, violent attacks, and honor killings always goes up significantly. That is what is driving spikes in violent crime, especially sexual crime, in many European cities. Reportedly half of the female murder victims in Spain for the first half of this year were killed by Muslims. This is no accident; this is inherent in Islam, whose sacred and judicial texts explicitly endorse and command jihad, murder, rape, and sexual abuse.

For instance, read the following from Quran 18:80, where justification is provided for the apparently random murder of a youth: “And as for the boy, his parents were ˹true˺ believers, and we feared that he would pressure them into defiance and disbelief.” This is an honor killing, and 91% of honor killings globally are committed by Muslims. Islamic law does not view such killings as murder, stating “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring” are “not subject to retaliation.”

But in America, an honor killing is attempted murder. Or at least, it used to be. But after Ihsan and Zahraa Ali brutally attacked their daughter for refusing to return to Iraq and marry a middle-aged man, requiring a whole crowd of young men to come to the rescue and save the girl, a Washington jury decided this wasn’t attempted murder. At this point, I sincerely fear for the life of their daughter, and also the lives of the young men who came to her rescue. One hopes that the Alis will be locked up for a very long time, so they can’t make a second attempt at honor killing.

Below is one opinion on the trial, shared in response to Libs of TikTok, the truth of which I cannot personally verify, but which is at least an interesting perspective:

It would not be shocking if this were true. After all, woke judges have a vested interest in hiding how violent Islam is. They are constantly covering up the role of Islam in various crimes so that they can continue to claim falsely that it is a religion of peace and justice. Local media The Olympian neglected to mention that the couple were Iraqis until very far into the article and sneered at the accusation of honor killing, suggesting the accusation was the result of “Islamophobia.”

This looks eerily like another loss for justice and a win for sharia terrorism.
