Examining the deleterious impacts of modern urban culture on the American social fabric and its future prognosis.

"We shall fight in the airport terminal, we shall fight at the Dollar Tree, we shall fight in the movie theaters and in the emergency rooms, we shall fight on the Carnival cruise ships; we shall never surrender.”
 -The Urban Creed

In the Year of Our Lord 2026, visiting (mostly) uncensored social media apps like X without finding oneself deluged by videos depicting urban Americans brawling in the most unexpected and inappropriate of public spaces is nigh impossible.

As a veteran — a survivor, one might even say — of Atlanta public schools, of course, I understand through hard-earned firsthand experience that urban culture has always been like this, or at least it has for the past thirty years. However, until the advent of the internet, the public at large remained largely unaware of the degree to which sudden, random acts of violence are always imminent.

No setting is sacred.

Here we have, by way of example of violence erupting in the most unexpected and inappropriate of settings, a gentleman threatening to shoot a doctor in an emergency room after causing a disturbance and being asked to vacate the premises — an occurrence which, according to the doctor in the video, is standard operating procedure with this individual: “You come here all the time. You’re f***ing high. You talk s**t to people.”

NSFW/language warning:

Then we have this gentleman — a career criminal with multiple violent felony charges already under his belt — sucker-punching a female ER nurse, totally unprovoked, and nearly killing her.

Via CBS News (emphasis added):

A career trauma nurse is suing Jackson Memorial Hospital for $5 million in damages following a brutal attack captured on surveillance video inside the facility.

Yanira Eguileor was repeatedly punched while attempting to protect colleagues during a May 30 incident at the hospital, according to her attorney, Michael Pizzi.

Police identified the suspect as 44-year-old Wenyou Rubin, who was captured on video attacking hospital staff. When Eguileor intervened, Rubin struck her in the head multiple times before other workers subdued him. Rubin was arrested and charged with three counts of battery on an emergency medical care provider.

"You have a career trauma nurse, knocked semi-unconscious, could've been killed, just lying on the floor with no protections while this guy continues to ransack the trauma ward," Pizzi said.

The lawsuit names Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, claiming the facility failed to provide adequate security. Pizzi stated he had to file a second lawsuit to secure the surveillance footage, leading a Miami-Dade circuit court judge to order the hospital to turn over the video.

“But these are just cherry-picked incidents!” You can already hear the progressive bleeding-heart protest in indignation.

However, I’ve already documented in this series the wildly disproportionate violent crime rates of American blacks relative to other races.

Plus, I’ve got lived experience, as progressives like to say — and questioning that is some kind of hate crime.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it, AOC!

And there’s far, far more evidence forthcoming than a mere couple of videos of senseless urban violence.
