Caribbean nations to begin training schoolchildren to be reparations activists
Along with vaunted Restorative Justice™ scholars like Ibram X. Kendi, Jason Arday, the woke British scholar who tragically martyred himself after it was discovered that he had fabricated his entire life story as well as his body of academic “work” (loosely defined), and Robin DiAngelo, that Karen who wrote the Bible on the subject of white guilt, White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism (it’s so hard that she had to write a whole book about it and do endless interviews in corporate state media about it and give hundreds of TED Talk-style lectures about it and make it the focal point of her entire career), I’ve been yelling from the rooftops for years to anyone willing to open their hearts and ears: the primary impediment to Haiti’s long-term economic viability and social stability is that they simply don’t graduate enough professional activists trying to hustle reparation bucks out of the white man (literal Satan).

Thankfully, at long last, the responsible governments of several Caribbean nations have set about correcting that deficiency.

Caribbean countries will teach children to be activists so they can claim reparations from Britain for generations.
Mia Mottley, the prime minister of Barbados, has hosted a conference over the past week to discuss strategies for obtaining compensation for slavery.
Government-backed experts have devised an “action plan”, which includes training children to continue the dispute with former colonial powers for decades to come.
It has been recommended that nations seeking reparations create and fund “institutional youth leadership” training to ensure a “succession” of advocates within the reparation movement.
There are parallel plans to make the region less “Western” and to overhaul the curriculum in schools to focus on slavery.
The official draft of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) plan states that nations should “overhaul Caribbean educational curricula to centre and teach of Africa, indigenous, and Caribbean histories; enslavement, resistance, and reparatory justice”.
Laleta Davis Mattis, a delegate from Jamaica, suggested that slavery and reparations could be inserted into maths lessons.
Rather than counting items bought at the shop, in a simple arithmetic exercise, she suggested that children could instead count how many Africans were seized by slavers.

Premising your nation’s economic prospects on the long-term capacity to squeeze blood out of the turnip that is the dying British kingdom — which doesn’t appear, on its current trajectory, to be long for this world — is certainly a bold economic plan.
Not to put a wet blanket on the whole thing, but it’s also unclear whether the likes of Haitian warlord Barbecue, who runs the lawless island, could be trusted to disperse the reparations funds in a fair and equitable manner among the population.
