Black Women’s Equal Pay Day
Unaware that Tuesday was a major holiday, social media droppings from prominent Democrats enlightened me.
DEI Rep. Summer Lee, Pennsylvania’s shame, commemorated Black Women’s Equal Pay Day with a pledge to “fight back” against allegedly discriminatory compensation packages for American workers based on sex and race, which unfairly advantage the white man (literal Satan):

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed got in on the action, lamenting that Black (“Black” being capitalized for some reason no one has ever satisfactorily explained) women have to work seven extra months out of the year to make the same as the white man (literal Satan), with the subtext being that pay disparity is basically tantamount to slavery:
“Black women have to work an extra 7 months to earn what white men earn in a year. Equal work deserves equal pay. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay”
Helpful X users brutally fact-checked the doctor in the “community notes” feature, noting that the propaganda doesn’t take into account different professions, which do not all offer the same pay:
The statistic reflects median earnings of all full-time, year-round Black women compared to all non-Hispanic white men across different occupations and does not measure pay for the same work.

Obviously, in order to truly level the playing field, you’d need to literally legislate equal pay for everyone, regardless of occupation or hours worked.
A succinct term for that would be “communism,” of which the left is increasingly bold in its advocacy.

‘Never really going to be able to tackle white supremacy in the way that we need to without reparations’
On top of equal pay for unequal work, Congressional candidate Melat Kiros recently vocalized her support for slavery reparations:
One of the things that brought me into starting my PhD program* was finally coming to the realization that we were never really going to be able to tackle white supremacy in the way that we need to without reparations. There is no way to truly heal and to progress and move on from acts of such cruel, systemic violence against an entire group of people without... repairing the damage done.

Note the sad cuckold in the colored rim glasses, host Walter Rhein, giddily throwing his hands up in the air like he’s at a Taylor Swift concert, as if to say “hallelujah, someone finally said it!” — like demanding cash from the white man for historic wrongs is some kind of revolutionary act or whatever that someone finally found the courage to breathe into the zeitgeist out loud.
The reality, of course, is that they’ve been demanding reparations for years. Far from being a brave policy prescription, it’s more or less required of a Democrat candidate for public office.
