California public schools must teach ‘Black English’, insist blacktivists
BLM-type agitators embedded within the California public education system, members of a group called Black Californians United for Early Care & Education (BlackECE), are demanding that “Black English,” otherwise known as Ebonics, be taught in public schools as part of a multilingual, culturally sensitive curriculum.
Via the New York Post (emphasis added):
Activists are pushing for Black English to be legitimized in preschool as a way to build children’s literacy skills in California.
The Black Californians United for Early Care & Education (BlackECE) is part of a movement to challenge “harmful language hierarchies and affirm Black English as a legitimate, rule-governed* language rooted in Black history, culture, and community.”
The movement also seeks to “address how language bias shows up in early learning spaces–and how it can be dismantled.”
“I don’t want my son to walk into any room and feel like his voice is not valued or his perspective can’t be heard because he’s not saying it one way or the other,” the co-founder of BlackECE Ashley Williams told PBS....
“We talk about multilinguals, but we don’t include Black children who may be African-American English speakers,” the Director of the Children’s Equity Project Xigrid Soto-Boykin said.
*A brazen lie; there are absolutely no rules in Ebonics. Practitioners of “Black English” routinely and aggressively break every grammatical rule possible.

Concerning the alleged need for this kind of curriculum, given enough members of the African-American diaspora in any school, the students are going to get a comprehensive ad hoc education in the subject regardless. I went to public school in Atlanta and absorbed “Black English” just fine by osmosis, no official curriculum required.
A bunch of my teachers spoke “Black English,” in fact. One of them in ninth grade, a very large woman who refused to teach standing up called Ms. Sanders, was actually in charge of teaching me English English, ironically enough — a task she carried out with all the enthusiasm and dedication of a surly DMV employee.
In addition to agitating for mandatory Ebonics education, the Black Californians United for Early Care and Education list of demands referenced above includes:
- “We want Black children to receive an additional $500 in their CalKids account.”
- “We want basic universal income for Black families, especially women and mothers.”
- “We want Black early educators to receive stipend payments to address the racial wage gap.”
- Slavery reparations. (Who could have seen that coming?)

‘This is mind-blowing my mind, bro’
By way of a possible example of the “Black English” to which the California schoolchildren will soon be subjected, Jaden Smith, nepo-child of Will Smith and his bald wife who enjoys publicly humiliating him, was allowed against all decency into the country of France and onto a rooftop in Paris, wearing a utility vest for some reason even though he’s definitely never done manual labor in his life.
The Parisian skyline, a relic of the once-thriving but now-crumbling Western civilization, “mind-blew his mind.”

Smith was also, prior to his French travels, unfamiliar with the phenomenon of hail, which similarly absolutely “mind-blew his mind.”
“Bro, what’s happening?... Bro, it’s bouncing off… Bro, you’re not supposed to be able to catch rain in your hand,” he marvels to the camera.
