The Great Replacement Chronicles: The Magical Sinking Migrants of the English Channel

Archiving the “strange death of Europe,” as Douglas Murray put it, and the West more broadly, at the hands of the neoliberal technocracy.

Starmer ally promises drowning migrants if UK leaves European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)

Richard Hermer, Keir Starmer’s Attorney General, is a big fan of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which the UK is still a signatory to for some reason despite having left the EU itself in 2016 and which requires the mass importation of migrants, even illegal ones on dinghies floating in the English Channel, under the auspices of something called “human rights.”

In order to stop illegal immigration, Hermer argues, one must cooperate with the body facilitating the illegal immigration — namely, the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

To sell the narrative, he offers what he presumably conceived to be effective emotional blackmail but which any British patriot would take as an ancillary benefit to leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) in the dustbin of history.

Via Daily Mail (emphasis added):

One of Keir Starmer's closest allies was accused of a 'disgraceful slur' today after he suggested those who want to axe human rights laws in order to cut illegal migration are happy to 'let people drown' in the Channel.

Richard Hermer, the Attorney General, made the remarks as he gave a forceful defence of Labour's commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

Both the Conservatives and Reform UK have vowed to quit the ECHR if they win power at the next general election, as a means of dealing with illegal immigration.

But Lord Hermer argued it was only by remaining members of the ECHR and the Council of Europe - the body which oversees the ECHR - that Britain could cooperate with other countries on trying to reduce the number of Channel crossings

Challenged about Conservative and Reform promises to swiftly deport those who illegally arrive in the UK, Lord Hermer said: 'Well, I think what they mean by that is they let people drown in the water, and that is not a British way to deal with it.

'That is not commensurate with our values. The way to deal with it is the way that we've been dealing with it.

'We're going to carry on rolling out further agreements, which is cooperation with the states through which people are traveling, through which people are launching boats, and we do that through our membership of the Council of Europe.'

One has to consider the costs involved in rescuing, housing, feeding, and processing “asylum” claimants who have been trained by NGOs to pretend to be gay in order to avoid deportation because protecting foreign sodomites from the long arm of the law in their home countries is somehow a national priority for Britain’s government.

And that’s all before they ritually butcher people in the streets of Belfast or London while screaming Sudanese gibberish.

This, altogether, represents an undue burden on the public treasury (and the essential fabric of society) that could be largely avoided by simply watching some overtaxed dinghy in the Channel capsize and saying a prayer for the poor souls onboard.

Also, once word gets out, the risk of drowning in a dinghy is sure to be a deterrent.

In economic terms, knowing you’re going to get bailed out by the British navy no matter how recklessly you behave on the seas or how callously you disregard immigration protocol is what they in the insurance industry call a “moral hazard.”
