In the apparent absence of any serious crime to fight in Nashville, “LGBTQ+++™ liaison” Officer Darci Stechman, lesbian zealot, spends her time on the taxpayer’s dime harassing local businesses to cooperate with her vendetta against anti-rainbow bigotry.
Once she’s been reassured they will essentially function as de facto agents of the state by monitoring their employees and customers for wrongthink, she awards their compliance with a sticker depicting a police shield colored with a rainbow motif.

Arguing against this regime on a constitutional basis would probably be an uphill battle in court, and the ACLU would surely dump enormous resources into any litigation, but these kinds of intimidation tactics strike me as profoundly antithetical to the concept of free speech.
Opposing transgenderism, as distasteful as Officer Darci might find it, is not, in fact, illegal.
Threats of violence or acts of violence are already against the law, so what’s the need for all of the theatrics?
