Documenting the West’s descent into Satanic receivership
Pride Month officially rebranded as ‘Nuclear Family Month’ in Tennessee
In that it instantly triggered the gender goblins, I give this particular piece of recently passed legislation a solid 9.2/10 on the trollometer.
Had I been consulted during the drafting phase, which I would never have been, I might have pushed for some explicit rebuke of the child trans agenda.

No one has ever accused me of skimping on the maximalism.
Still, deficiencies aside, the resolution is directionally on the money.

Tennessee has officially designated June as “Nuclear Family Month” under a resolution signed into law by Gov. Bill Lee on April 9.
The measure, House Joint Resolution 182, was approved by the Tennessee General Assembly and defines a nuclear family as one husband, one wife, and their children, including biological, adopted, or fostered children.
The resolution describes that family structure as foundational to society and includes statements linking fatherless households to higher rates of poverty, substance abuse, mental health challenges, and incarceration…
Additionally, the measure criticizes international organizations such as the World Health Organization and the United Nations, stating their positions on issues like population control and reproductive health conflict with what it describes as Tennessee’s values.

Bill Gates, while he won’t be thrilled about the anti-trans stuff either, certainly won’t appreciate the population control talk.
And he won’t be alone in his indignant outrage.
The leftist Social Justice™ brigade, with whom Gates has aligned himself because they’re easy to fool if you just present whatever dystopian social engineering project under the guise of progressivism (hence the Mr. Rogers sweater and the effeminate hand gestures his PR people have trained him to make in public), immediately came out of the woodwork to condemn the resolution.
Via The Advocate (emphasis added):
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee has signed a resolution designating June 2026 as “Nuclear Family Month” in the state, defining the family unit as consisting of “one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children.” Critics say it is a direct rebuke of LGBTQ+ families during Pride Month*.
*This is a cheap trick that partisan media always pulls: “critics say X” when what they really mean is “we say X.” But, to maintain some semblance of objectivity, they have to couch their opinions as concern from “experts” or “critics.” Why anyone could buy that an outlet called “The Advocate” could be a non-partisan purveyor of facts is beyond me; then again, it’s not catering to the sharpest tools in the shed.
Continuing:
The measure goes beyond symbolic recognition, invoking a series of widely disputed claims about fatherless households, including links to higher rates of poverty**, substance abuse, incarceration, and school shootings, to argue for the superiority of the traditional family structure it promotes, according to the resolution text.
Rigorous studies find that, once factors such as income and household stability are accounted for, the independent effects of father absence are significantly smaller.
LGBTQ+ advocates condemned the move.
“Resolutions like this do more to reveal the cluelessness of elected officials whose own families and those of their constituents have various family dynamics and structures,” a spokesperson for GLAAD said in a statement to The Advocate. “The strongest families are grounded by love. Lawmakers trying to exclude and intentionally harm some families should be recognized as actively harming all by not focusing their time working for an inclusive Tennessee where all are welcome and can succeed.”
**Good to see the trans activists revealing their own anti-family agenda by openly championing fatherlessness, albeit using wildly counterfactual claims of uncited “rigorous studies” proving that poverty is somehow unrelated to single motherhood to make the case.
Of course they want the fathers out of the house, given that it’s almost always — and you have probably seen this up close if you have spent time around kids and parents — the women who are eager to transform their children into eunuchs for gender equity or whatever abstract ideal.
